Letterhead

The ASCE letterhead should be printed in ASCE blue (PMS 286) and PMS 375 on Environment PC 100 White, 24 lb. text. This stock is 100% post consumer fiber.

Download the provided InDesign file when the letterhead will be professionally printed. The provided word template should be used for electronic purposes only. 

The highlighted measurements show the proper layout and placement of letter text on the ASCE letterhead. 

The letter text should be set in 12 point ITC Garamond Standard Book font. The leading (or space between the lines) should be set at 14 point.

Using Garamond that is installed in Microsoft Windows is allowed. Arial is also an acceptable alternative.

The letter text should be flush left starting at the 1'' margin. The right margin should be 7.5'' from the left edge of the page. Body text should not exceed these margins. Beginning with the date, the letter text should start 2.5'' from the top of the page. No text should appear below the 1'' margin indicated at the bottom of the letterhead. 

A handwritten signature should be made in either black or dark blue pen. The title of the individual signing the letter should be set in 12 point ITC Garamond Standard Book Italic. 

If the letter is longer that one page, blank paper should be used for the subsequent pages.
