Color Usage

Consistent use of colors across all mediums will help establish each ASCE Institute brand. Each Institute logo has very specific colors that should be used liberally whenever color is available and should not be substituted. Screens of these colors are also recommended to help accelerate the identity of each Institute. Because many colors are similar, always refer to the official PMS number or CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black) values to ensure the correct selection. The official colors for each of the Institute logos are displayed in Exhibits 1-9 as well as a complementary color palette. This palette should be used on marketing materials to enhance the Institute logo colors and create a brand identity. The complimentary accent colors should be used in moderate amounts to avoid overpowering the colors of the Institute logo. When color is not available, black and white versions of the Institute logos should be utilized.
