Chapters, Sections or Sub Groups

When an Institute needs to designate chapters, sections or sub groups with their logo, the name of the chapter should be added to the signature underneath the rule, as shown in the Geo-Institute samples here. The font used is the same size and weight as the signature, Univers Bold Condensed, but in upper and lower case. For the vertical logo the chapter name is centered underneath the signature and for the horizontal version it is flush left. The space between the signature and rule is equal to the space between the rule and the chapter name.

When the designated geographic area name (i.e. Boston, St. Louis, Texas) is narrower than the rule, the complete chapter name should appear on one line. This is illustrated here by the Boston Chapter logo. If the designated geographic area name is wider than the rule, the word “Chapter” needs to appear on a line by itself. This is shown here by the East Central Florida Chapter logo.

An Institute chapter logo displayed without the signature is not allowed.
